Hello, my name is Jason Maas. I work for Seven planning, designing and developing websites. I’m really keen on making things that are usable and look nice. If my projects end up helping people, I’m happy. I think Apple products, design grids and afternoon naps are awesome. Read On »

I'm passionate about doing things simply and well. I enjoy designing user interfaces, thinking about the user interaction process and building the application with helpful function. Typically I use Flash, PHP and JavaScript but I like to determine the right tools for the job first, even if that means learning something new.

I love what I do and feel blessed to get to do this for a living. I used to do a lot of freelance, but now I work full-time as the Lead Developer at Seven. I grew up in beautiful Cambridge New Zealand and currently work in Auckland, but I'm not rooted here and would love to travel and work overseas at some stage.

Simon Miller is a NZ designer making perfect-fit, Japanese denim jeans in the US. This website was built to show off his latest range selling in Los Angeles. A simple custom CMS was developed to allow him to upload new stock and manage his stockist list.

The BeST Awards is an annual event, honouring the best talent in the NZ design community. Seven produced the identity for two years running and I created the presentation to show on the Awards night. It drew animations dynamically and reacted to the operators commands on the fly.
